A prime development site on Frankford Avenue in Fishtown has been acquired. The vacant lot at 1400 Frankford Avenue was purchased for $2.65 million. The buyer was an entity affiliated with Eclipse Development. The seller was the nonprofit Lutheran Settlement House.
A four-story mixed-use building is being planned for the site. Approximately 20 residential units are proposed. About 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space is planned.
The site is located at the corner of Frankford Avenue and Master Street. The property sits within Fishtown’s active commercial corridor. The site faces The Bend, a recently completed mixed-use apartment building. Ground-floor tenants at The Bend include Shake Shack and Sweetgreen.
