Valley Forge Military Academy and College will sell nearly half its campus to Eastern University. The sale follows the academy’s planned closure in May.

The 33.3-acre section includes a football stadium, track, field house, pickleball courts, residential buildings, and open space. Eastern University, a fast-growing private Christian college, has leased the stadium and nearby facilities since 2021.

The transaction is contingent on approvals and regulatory reviews. Eastern expects the due diligence process to finish within five months. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal comes after Valley Forge Military Academy announced in September that it would close at the end of the school year. Valley Forge Military College will remain on its portion of the 70-acre campus, which spans Tredyffrin and Radnor townships.
